Snow on tanks

There are a number of different ways to achieve snow on armoured vehicles. This subject is quite well covered in other threads in the Armour Forum. If you use the search function at the top of the page and enter the keyword snow you will find all kinds of threads that may help you.

Woodland Scenics (http://www.woodlandscenics.com/) makes an outstanding product to simulate snow. It is a little costly but the product is outstanding and very easy to work with. Simply dust the "snow" on your product and "coat" with a very watered down mixture of elemers glue, water and a drop of hand soap. You won't be disappointed. Woodland Scenics makes some very realistic dio- materials. Hope this helps, GOOD LUCK!

I'd give a shot and see what happens. I think it would work nicely.

keep in mind when applying snow that the engine deck would melt te snow off, and generally you won't find a lot on the front slope either. Snow didn't last very long on top of "live" tanks, of course dead ones are another matter

Baking soda. Just don't get it wet after application, otherwise your snow covered tank becomes an antacid covered tank. I use it for dioramas all the time.

if sealing the whole thing with clear laquer it is even a little resistant to humidity.

Thanks for the responses. They were a lot of help. Between knowing how lazy I am, and my other diorama, the pics of my diorama shouldnt be up for at least a month.
