Nice to see your face around the forum Wipw. I think we all know how things in life can sometimes take away from our chances to get with the forum folks and talk about our favorite subjects. It's good that the Dragon folks stepped up and took care of your part shortage. It sure goes a long ways in keeping customers coming back. See ya whenever you can post. semper fi, mike

Now that's what I would call custumer support.
Can you mail this topic to Revell too, they might learn something here Approve [^]

Yep, Eric, just the one tiny piece. I was hoping they'd just ship the whole sprue, but they didn't. And I'm not complaining! But, I wonder if I'd ordered the one for the Tiger I (which doesn't come with the parts detached from the sprues) if I'd gotten the whole sprue.

Don't forget their Pak 40. So they ship just the one-piece? Must be quite a stockpile of spare parts in their bins. Good to see good customer satisfaction.

LOL Too funny, Ausf!

Bought any good 251's lately?? Got the two new (command and 3 way kit) 251's in at Great Models last Friday and they are gone by Tuesday morning!! Wow! Hoping to hit the LHS on Thursday and see if they have any left. Also, picking up the Anniversary Panther A late from GM on Thursday. I see the new Accurate Miniatures, George Bush TBD-1 Avenger is in too. Decisions, decisions...will it ever end!!

Talk at all you guys later. Thanks for the come-backs!

They were excellent in getting me a replacement sprue for my Ketten. You have to love a company with customer service in mind.
If I'm on the fence next time about going with either Dragon or Tamiya, I think their service may tiip the scale.

Wipw,

Thanks for sharing this, I myself recently contacted Dragon for replacement parts, I hope I get the same level of response.

Good to hear from you.
I haven't had problems with Dragon yet, but it's nice to know that if I do, they care about their customers.

Wipw,
good to hear from you and to hear of your good fortune!

maybe if we emailed them corrections for instructions,
they could apply them to future printings?

Dragon Support, WOW!!

Hi, guys and gals.

First, let me say I'm sorry I haven't been in the forum much lately. It's been very busy here at work for the last couple of months. And at home in the evening, my kids have the computer tied up until all hours. (Wish it was for homework, but it's usually for the latest comp game.)

Anyway, to the subject of this post.

I bought one of the new Dragon 1/72 BergeTigers with zimmerit. A few of the parts have already been removed from the trees and put in a small plastic bag. However, one of the little "pins" that holds the idler wheel to the hull was missing. I sent an e-mail sometime around Sept 1st to Dragon asking what I needed to do to get a replacement. On the 3rd, they replied they needed to know the kit/part numbers, place/date of purchase, invoice number (yeah, right!), etc. I thought, "Oh boy! Here we go, big hassle!!". I dug up the info I could (no invoice number, needless to say) and replied back on Tuesday the 5th. Wednesday, I got another e-mail saying the part had been sent that day and should arrive within 7-10 working days. Friday, the part was in my mailbox!

About 9 (including weekends) days from first notification until I had the part. Like I said...WOW!

Thanks, Dragon for some of the best customer service I've ever seen anywhere!!
