M35A1 pattern
Posted by djmodels1999 on Monday, September 20, 2004 3:04 PM
Here's something I completed a little while ago but forgot to post. It's a 1/72 pattern for a M35A1, for a German customer. The pic only shows the main bits really as there are a myriad of little bits to this kit. I'm hoping it will be available as a resin/metal kit very soon.

In the meantime, the pattern will be used to create a whole family of vehicles based on the M35 truck.

The pattern is I'd say 90% plastic, and 9.5% Milliput and 0.5% PE leftovers and metal wire. It's quite an intricate little kit, certainly one of the most elaborate one I've worked on in ages!

1/72?? How do you keep from going blind? Really, though, that is great work you've got there. WIthout a reference, I'd have thought it was at least 1/35 from the picture.
A day in the Corps is like a day on the farm; every meal is a banquet, every paycheck a fortune, every formation a parade... The Marine Corps is a department of the Navy? Yeah...The Men's Department.
