Are there any aftermarket tracks ( preferably indy) for this gun ? The kit supplied ones broke apart on me when I fit them to it .

No, there aren't any for this chassis yet. I do believe that someone has tracks in the works. We were talking about it on Armorama earlier this month. I don't recall who had the exact information though.

I don't know of any aftermarket tracks for it either. I didn't have any real problems with mine. You could try heating them up in some hot water to make them a little more flexable when putting them on.

Gino was probably sleeping when we were discussing the new resin tracks in the works. I did a search and came up with the link we were discussing:

SP Designs models is the one making them.

HA!! I was probably in the field doing real work, not in a cushy office in a motorpool with a coffee pot and an air conditioner. Although that does sound much better than in the field here in the desert with 110 degree heat driving around in a HMMWV without doors and a windshield.

The track looks good. Hopefully they will be produced soon.

Paid my dues to the great gods of Armor long before I got my cushy office job including two tours to SWA, 3 years in Germany and 4 years with the First Cavalry Division. Their unofficial motto is "Ride the horse til it dies."

I here you, Rob. I too did my dues in 1st CAV. Did 4 years there as a LT. Fun times. Then I did a year in the Land of the Morning Calm (2ID, Korea), then 3 years on the Marne Express (#ID) , with a little side trip to Iraq thrown in there. Now I'm in another desert. And to think I chose to come here. I guess I'm a glutten for punishment. So be it. Hooaay!!
