Well I have some good news. I am finishing up on a new photo gallery. This one is incorporating every suggestion I received on this forum. I will post a message and a new link as soon as it is ready to go (hopefully within a day or two).

Thanks again for all the feedback!

Thank you all for the feedback. I have been given a lot of ideas on how to make the photo gallery run a bit smoother. I am going to try to incorporate many of those ideas into the next update.

Thanks again!

I loved it and it was easy to navigate. I agree with the caption idea petbat, but writing 73 captions would certainly have to be a labour of love.

Peter

I do plan on doing the captions for the pictures. I was waiting on public feedback before I put too much effort into this particular gallery. Wink [;)] This is the third one I have tried out, and even though it doesn't quite hit all the features I wanted, its ease of use makes up for some.

Kaleu

I don't know if this photo gallery has the option of opening in a new window. I will research that and see what I can do. I like that idea. I realized the thumb nails were going to be a bit of a problem after I had set up this group. I am going to see if I can cut it down a bit.

Keep the feedback coming!

Great pictures. Do you have any more of T-55's or T-72's? I have a couple of suggestions. How about a opening up a new window to view each picture? It also might be easier to navigate if there were less thumbnails on each page. The site was smooth and I didn't have any problems loading the pictures. Can't wait to see more.

Smooth as silk for me Don. My poor old dial up modem is a tad slow, but hey, I can't blame you for that can I ?

I went through the What's New "photo gallery" link and then chose the 'armour wreckage' link on the options page.

The thumbnails at the bottom of each page is a nice touch, but when I want to view something else out of a group of thumbnails I usually just go back a page after viewing a full size pick.

Nice selection of good reference shots. The Full size option really opens up some detail for us modellers.

Only thing else I would suggest is captioning the pics, especially the internal pics as there is little for a modeller to go on to work out what vehicle it was.

Thanks for sharing with us.

I just posted the next update for Prime Portal. This time I am trying out a photo gallery. Please let me know what you think of it. Is it easy to use? Does it work smootly? Do you like it? I know I put too many pictures in this first one, but I needed to see what it can do.

There are 73 pictures of destroyed armor to browse through.
