Does anyone know if the Verlinden M4A2 resin hull will fit the Tamiya early production M4 kit?

Somewhere I thought that I had read about that very conversion, although I don't recall any real details. Given that the Tamiya lower hull doesn't have floors to the sponsons, the only possible fit issues I could imagine would be mating the transmission to the front, may a bit of tweaking on the rear part of the lower hull to get the rear bulkhead to fit. I don't seem as though it would be terriblby difficult.
