Fat cat is right. The real challenge is to model it broken down on the side of the road. I understand that the suspension really couldn't handle the weight.
Nice job!Big Smile [:D]

Thanks guys for the comments.
The shiny wheels you see in some of the pictures is just poor camera work.

I will have to look for those issues when I put mine together. Thanks

Jwest:

The kit went together fairly quickly - again, not that many parts in the kit (mostly track links). The kit I received had some fit issues/warping for the front piece of the super-structure and required some clamping while the glue set. I also had some trouble putting the gun together - tight interference fit when joining the gun barrel to the rest of the kit. I think the major problem was that there was a little piece of flash on almost every second piece of the track links (2 different pieces of links compose the track) - I found it easier to remove the flash after I put the tracks together.

Other than that, a really simple build - I enjoyed putting together the beast immensely simply for its size - I have it next to my hetzer on the shelf and it's pretty comical.

Hey all.

Here's my completed DML 6050 kit Sdkfz 186, Jagdtiger, Henschel type - the fattest cat of them all!

Dark yellow coat sprayed from a can, everything else handpainted. Usage of washes, pastels and pencil crayons for weathering. The kit is mediocre as the tracks needed a lot of work - but otherwise really easy because there simply aren't that many parts.

Now I wait for DML 6185... so I can continue my german fleet of vehicles while building a t-34... Cool [8D]

For good measure here's the aberdeen one...
