Monster OIF Collection

It's finally here. The all new Photo Gallery on Prime Portal is in place! This section will not replace the regular walk around or vehicle picture pages, but for large groups of pictures it is a gift from above!

The first major entry in it is roughly 5500 pictures from OIF in a section called "A Year's Duty - The 200th in Iraq". This section is arranged chronologically and will eventually have descriptions on all the pictures to tell the story.

It's been a lot of work getting this ready, regular updates have been delayed, but I think its worth it. Enjoy!

How was the gallery to navigate? Did you find the full sized images?

Yes I did, I saw some great destroyed trucks, a few choppers, and lots of soldiers! Its sort of just look until you find what you want the way it is, it might make it easier if you categorized it, but that would be a lot of work I'm sure. As it is, its sort of like looking through a photo diary if that makes sense. Im talking about the 'Year in Iraq' gallery, btw. thants the one you mean right?
In any case, really cool!

Yep, that is the one I'm talking about. When I hit a slow time I will be going through these pictures and pulling them out into types. As we progress on this photo diary, keywords will be put in and that will make it all searchable.
