JCon, Thanks for the great comments. I'm glad you like the Tiger I in that pattern. It was all hand painted on because I built that little kit about 23 years ago and didn't have an airbrush. Sometimes I wonder how my fat fingers can do it too, but I guess I'm so used to it that I just build.

Jeff, I completely agree! I hope someday to have all my models displayed online, provided there is a web-hosting service that can handle it!

I like the Bosnian T-55 you have there. Is it the ACE kit? Excellent work, especially considering the "surgery" that is required at the beginning!

Anyway, check out my newest Thread for the latest progress in my Factory coming soon!

You really have done a great job with such a small scale! I have a hard enough time with 1/35th and these pudgy fingers let alone anything as small as what you are building! I love the Tiger 1 in that camo pattern! Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work!

wbill, Thanks for the great comments! As for the Factory, well I'd love to get my factory back in gear! I'm working two jobs now and one is giving me overtime, so I barely have time to even sleep! Dead [xx(] Maybe when October is over it will all settle down enough for me to start up production again.Disapprove [V] Believe me, I'm going through withdrawal symptoms now!Black Eye [B)]Black Eye [B)]Black Eye [B)]

Always neat to get another look at your fabulous collection Duke! It's mindboggling to me the effects you are able to get with the braille scale! Now get that factory back in gear! Tongue [:P]

I know this is the armor page but I loved the Arrow and Voodoo.

Dave

Thanks Dave! It might be a bit difficult to remember all of them, but I can try. I can say that most of the US and German Armor is ESCI/Italeri, with some Revell/Germany, Fujimi and Hasegawa while most of the modern Russian Armor is mostly PST and ACE, while the WWII stuff is some PST, ESCI/Italeri and several other brands. I'll see what I can do.

As for the Arrow and Voodoo, they were quite fun to do. The Voodoo was won at my IPMS clubs semi-annual Distressed Kit Auction for 3.50. I had it built and entered the following month. The Arrow was a Hobbycraft kit that went together pretty well.

You have a great collection going there Duke.I like some of the things you did with the captured armor.Digger

Thanks Digger! I hope to get quite a few more and make them captured, as well as get another T-72 and make it with West German/Unified German markings. I have so may to get to make captured, so it's gonna take some time. And boy will it increase my collection size!

Thanks A.F.D and Dwight! It's always a pleasure to show my collection to you Dwight. Your expressions of appreciation are very inspiring to me as well.

My Collection so Far
Posted by Duke Maddog on Monday, October 4, 2004 5:59 AM
Hey everyone! My wife got a program called Webshots that allows up to 240 pics to be uploaded to your own Online Albums for viewing, among other features offered.

Well, here's my page holding all my Albums, with a total of 230 photos altogether so far:

http://community.webshots.com/user/duke_maddog

It's Public, so no Password is needed. This is better that Photobucket for now, since all my pics on Photobucket disappeared. Disapprove [V]

These pics represent only about 20% of what I have built now, so stop on in and enjoy any or all albums that you want! Wink [;)]Big Smile [:D]
