M2A2 & M1A2 tracks....
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, October 6, 2004 6:35 AM
Does anyone have any suggestions or input on the best aftermarket tank track for the Tamiya 1/35 M2A2 CFV & M1A2 Abrams. I have been trying to find suitable metal or individual link tracks. Any input or suggests would be very much appreciated.

Fruil makes the best Bradley tracks, both the early style (ATL-78) and late style (ATL-79). The M2A2 would normally be seen with the later style today.

AFV Club makes the late T-158 M1A1/A2 tracks. Armour Track models makes both early (T-156) and late (T-158) tracks. No one makes the latest T-158LL tracks yet.

AFV tracks are recommended and run between $15-20. Fruil tend to run in the $30 range as do Armour Track models.

I've used the AFV Club tracks on four of my Abramses and they're a piece of cake to work with and look really good.
