Tamiya Panther G late
Posted by spector822002 on Saturday, October 9, 2004 6:16 AM
I have been working on this kit for about a week so far , doing mods as usual , but the basic kit has to be the best fitting kit I have ever done . Just absolute perfection . I love tamiya kits and each one I do further confirms this . Give me your opinions on this kit or others you have done . If you have not built this one yet I highly recommend it ! ( no I do not work for or am affiliated with Tamiya in any way shape or form ) Big Smile [:D]

I built this kit earlier this year and so far I'd have to say it's the nicest Panther kit I've ever built. I do have a couple of Dragon releases in the closet and they look real nice in the box as well, so I'll have to hold back on a final opinion until I build one of them. Having said that, you can't go wrong with the Tamiya Panther G. It's a great model OOB and really shines with some AM goodies on it.

I built the Tamiya Panther G a while back and remember it going together very well without any major issues. I didn't add any AM to it and it still sits in my display case as we speak. Big Smile [:D]

Tamiya's early Sherman must have been one of the smoothest kits that I have put together.

I couldn't agree more Shawn, Tamiya's Panther G is an excellent kit as is most of their new offerings. Nothing compares to them in my opinion.

Cheers

Ah yes...it was a perfect fit indeed. I built mine OOB with steel wheels.
