You can paint Acrylic onto enamel just not the other way around.

The XF-74 & TS-70, I think are colours specifically mixed for the Kit, Tamiya does that at times and it can be a pain to get hold of those colours as they are a limited issue and soon sold out.

XF-72 & XF-73 might be for the Type 90 Tank or similar, don't have those instructions handy.

Better start mixing the colour to max the box-art.

Jessiah, I've never had problems painting enamels over acrylics. I can't say that I've have much success the other way around though...

Acrylics tend to be more 'inert' and dry much faster. Enamels need a loooong time to dry properly and anything you put on top can have a reaction with it, even if delayed.

The only way I'll put acrylics over enamels is, after a considerable drying time, by first putting on a coat fo Klear/Future.

DJ Ive painted acrylics onto an enamel surface numerous times, due to the lack of paint inventory at my disposale, I have always been told never to paint enamels onto an acrylic surface . It even sounds like it wouldnt work, though Ive never tried this I cant say for sure that it doesnt work but I know for sure from experience that an acrylic onto an enamel works just fine.

I got 2 unopened bottles of the XF-74 at home, don't think I will need both to finish 2 of the kits.

If everything goes smooth I should be painting both kits these weekends, interiors are nearly done too. Doing the A +C variants of the kit.

This one looks like an interesting kit, how well does it go together? What's the interior like? I wouldn't mind adding one of these to the pile at some time.

The Kit goes together well, I really like the primed die-cast chassis that comes with the Kit.

Interior details is not too bad, fairly simple but well detailed with center console, 4 seats,fire extinguisher and a nice dash. All the doors can be build open or closed as well as the roof hatch. No engine though.

There is a Driver figure included in the Kit but I would recommend to get the companion figure set to bring the kit really alive in a mini Dio.

Due to the diecast chassis some parts are screwed onto the kit but all the screws are hidden on the finished product.
I think that the rear roof-rack could have been done a bit nicer.

I would recommend the kit, nice for a fairly quick build with no tracks and no cammo..
