                        Just bought the Dragon Stug IV late version and got a question. Unless I'm mistaken the mark IV is suppose to have 4 return rollers instead just 3, like on the mark III. The box art, kit pictures and directions all show 3 return rollers?? Have I been mistaken for the last 25 yrs in thinking the Stug IV had 4 return rollers or is this something specific to the late model. The kit has parts for 4 rollers so I'm thinking it's just a mistake on Dragon's part. Let me know what you think......

                        The Stug IV has 4 return rollers and the Stug III has 3 return rollers..

                        Near as I can tell from refs of Panzer IV and variants, they should have 4 return rollers.

                        That's what I've always thought. It's the Dragon kit.

                        There were some LATE versions of the Pz IV and variants that had only 3 return rollers. This was a metal saving and time saving deal. I have seen it more on Jagdpanzers than anything else but it was done though not until late in the game. Sorry I can't be more specific I don't have my refs right here in front of me...

                        It's number 6043. Think it's an older kit since I don't see it in many catalogs. Been out of the hobby for awhile (when I left Dragon only had modern Infantry) so I don't know how long it's been around.
