Zimm question for Moses

Ok, I was in the local hobby shop and saw some Tamiya Polyester putty and Dragon's Panther A with the aluminum barrel, so I broke down and bought both. I know you use that putty, so I have a few questions. 1) The directions are all in Japanese, so what ratio do you mix the hardener and the putty. I assume not much hardener is needed, since they give you a huge tube of the putty and an itty bitty hardener container. 2.) I assume you spead it on real thin with Zimm tools or something like a small spatula. How much area do you work with? and 3.) I am doing the simple tile pattern to start, but do you treat the tool you use to scribe the tile lines with anything to prevent the putty from sticking, do you wait a little for the putty to firm up or scribe right away and finally am I missing anything. Can you tell this is a big step for me and I am a little nervous??
