M36 Jackson Progress(?) Report Part 3
Posted by Dwight Ta-ala on Sunday, October 17, 2004 7:27 PM
Well I don't know if you can call it progress but I was able to finish the ammo stowage (can be seen dry fitted in the interior pics) as well as the things on the upper hull.

I will be working on the turret this evening and give me another month and I could probably finish it. Big Smile [:D]

I would just like to say that doing that ammo stowage was really fun and it took me sometime to do it right. [:0] Blush [:I]Wink [;)]

Tigerman: Thanks. yeah it feels good to build a tank again.

Captain Caveman: Actually no but if you flip the tank upside down you can see the edge where they intersect the side armor. I just painted it to simulate red lead primer. I figured it looked better than plain plastic. Lol. The engine compartment is also painted with the same color. This kit does not provide the engine so I will keep the access door to the engine shut. Thanks.

Really? Well I'll try to check if I can get that M-10. Thanks for the tip.

For the camo, actually I am planning maybe one for the late 1944 or early 1945. I have an idea for a diorama so I guess it is just OD for this one.

Thanks mike. More progress pics are coming...that's for sure. With the pace I am going...it may take time before I can complete this one.
