Academy 1/25th Panthers
Posted by lolok on Monday, October 18, 2004 4:52 AM
Tiptoing into the Darkside while most of you are asleep,I have a question.
I know Academy do 2 versions of the panther.Motorised and not but are either of them Zimmed or both the same kit with just the motor bits added. I have to do one of the late models captured by the insurgents of the Warsaw Uprising and it was zimmed.
As usual,any help much appreciated.
Greetings from Warsaw, where winter is fast approaching.Smile [:)]

None of the 1/25 Panthers are zimmed, so it's time to grab the razor saw and putty (or putty-like compound) of your choice!

It appears Brian is correct. I couldn't locate any AM zimmerit for the 1/25 scale.

A little off topic, but I'm going to have to attempt some zimm myself soon. What do you guys suggest? Would squadron white putty suffice?

I am currently trying my first zimm job with Tamiya Polyester putty. The stuff stinks like melting plastic, but I think I am getting it. Moses is te one who taught me this, so you might want to check with him.
