One of my favorite subjects, and your's is looking great. Keep us posted.

I'm looking to get a couple of the conversions from AEF Designs for the M3. Does anyone have any experience with this company?

Oh, I'm also looking for the Dragon 251/22. I'm fascinated with those tank-killer variants of WWII halftracks, I guess.
A day in the Corps is like a day on the farm; every meal is a banquet, every paycheck a fortune, every formation a parade... The Marine Corps is a department of the Navy? Yeah...The Men's Department.

Derek are you going to leave it with a patchy fade on the paint because what I see now looks good and makes me want to bust out my half-track kit.Digger

M3A2 halftrack - backdate.
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, October 19, 2004 8:58 AM
Another project - backdating Tamiya's M3A2 halftrack to M3A1.
I have a lot of detail (rivets etc) to replace after removing the rear racks and side ladders but here is the progress so far.

I plan on replacing all the tie down loops with fine wire, I shaved half of them off removing the ladders anyway.

hope you like it and, of course, comments and suggestions welcome.
