Cool! Thanks for the feedback.

I had been planning on picking up one of these, but maybe two or three would be better.

Enjoy your modeling...

Can you buy this kit yet and if so, where? I checked out Greatmodels and they are taking preorders only.

Thanks,

Ted

Both of my LHS owners said they were due out this week.

I'm going to hold out for the 251 that has the anti-tank gun mounted on it. I believe its the 251/22. I like the big-gunned halftracks and can't wait to add this one to the pile to build. Though these others do sound pretty interesting, too. Thanks for the heads-up.

The D has been out for a month or so. Great Models is showing it in stock at the moment. I picked one up a while ago, and I agree that it is an awesome kit. It's definately on my list to get at least one more. (Got to get more than one version built!!)

It's the 251 Ausf. C 3 in 1 that's still on preorder (as well as the 251 Ausf. D w/PAK 40.

At Great Models, the C, 3 in 1 D and the Command C have all been in and out of stock several times. The only one I've seen stay "in stock" has been the rivited version.

I've always liked half tracks. I built one of the Tamiya Hanomags years ago. All kinds of little pieces that have gone bye-bye over the years. Very basic model. I think it's still available. Just amazing what kits Tamiya never updates!

I got this kit 3 weeks ago, as a raffle prize from my Club. The Ezy Tracks have two ejector pin marks on the face that will need to be filled. A Bummer, cause they are late model track links, not early pattern like the sprued set you also get. Just a warning, the driver don't fit without some amputation.

Overall not a bad kit, but the detail in the road wheels are a bit lacking....the AFV Club set will fix that.

I thought that the reason that Dragon made the driver out of the softer, flexible plastic is so you can squeeze him into his seat. Also, I wonder wichone is better, the AFV Club "D" or the Dragon..........................

Gee thanks!! now it looks like I have to go out an buy one (didn't even know it existed till I saw it at the forum here). Like I don't have enough kits to build already. But according to the review over 600 pieces sounds like it will keep me busy too.

I believe the AFV comes with rubberband tracks and costs much more.

This is a great kit ! Got it two weeks ago and decided not to waste the extra parts so I"m adapting the 7.5cm KwK37 to a tamiya 251D I've had laying around the swap is going excellent and I'll still be able to build the night fighting version next. As Erick would say ssssswwwwweeeeeett!
