Ouch! That must have been quite awful! I'm glad you could re-built it into something that is very eye-pleasing!

Excellent work salvaging this one, I'd never know that it had met such a fate based off the pics if you didn't mention it.

The German armored cars had some quirky features as well as some very enduring ones. Just ask Rommel how vital they were to his operations. Big Smile [:D]

those germans really knew how to make Armoured cars in fact some of the design features in some of their vehicles made it into modern fighting vehicles to this day and even in the Civilian car market for example the SDkfz222 had 4 wheel tandom steering where all 4 wheels turned left or right making for greater mobility and now you can find this feature in alot of newer cars these days.

Great job, especially after being smashed! Those armored cars always remind me of a big fat caterpillar

It's unbelieveable that you assembled that out of a smashed wreck. Great work!

Good salvage job. It would have been sad to see that beauty go to waste.

Neat story...a pretty darn good build, too - particularly with all it went through!

Enjoy your modeling...

Hello guys I like to show you my Tamiya kit from the 232, there's a big story behind this model......let me tell you, on April 1999 I started this model after it was painted ready for decals I left the model next to my sofa and there was a typewriter on top of the sofa, so, at night I try to grab some stuff and I hit the typewriter and fell down crushing my model in a lot of pieces I almost cry, but I grab the model put it in his box a saved it for 2 years. In 2001 I rebuild the model glue everything and sand it all, and painted it again....and here it's.....that's why I love this model......

Hope you like it.
