Did you build the site yourself or use a software package? I am trying for a similar site myself, I have the content prepared, but just need more info on the publishing part.
Any help will be appreciated.

I tried the Yappa software, and was not real impressed. I like Coppermine much better:

http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/

Check mine out

It flows really well, and after the intial setup, it is too easy to use.

Roy

Please don't think I was putting your website down. I just wanted to let you know about the other free photo gallery software. I played with 5 or 6 before I found the one I really liked. I ran into the problem as well with the pixalation and found a solution. If I can find that I will PM it to you.

Hi Roy,

Good layout. I agree that the pics are a bit blurry, too. Hope you can make the necessary adjustments soon.

Good work and keep it up.

ok I figured it out... you are saving your pictures at like a 2000x1200 resolution (a guess) which makes the web software extrapolate it down to 640 by 480 basically... if you go into a photo editor (like the one that came with your camera) it should allow you to resize it at like 768x640 or so which would be a good compromise... the small pics would look less pixelated, the enlarged pics would still look good...

but looks good! how old is your son because I am jealous of the details I saw once I enlarged it to full size... your look good too! I think once you figure the downsizing out you'll have many a mouth out here drooling for your builds!!!

just so everyone else knows... if you go into his galleries, when you click on a picture a menu will load at the top or bottom (cant remember) it will offer different sizes to view it at... choose 'original upload' or maybe it was download.. yall get the idea... it takes a bit even on DSL but it's worth it!
