Guess what I found (Tiger 1)
Posted by crockett on Tuesday, October 26, 2004 8:30 AM
I was in Detroit yesterday and dropped in on Old Guard LHS and lo and behold on the shelf was the old 1/25th Tiger 1! I immediately bought this kit, since the one I built in the seventies has taken a direct hit (moving damage) and is now just pieces in the spares box. I haven't seen this kit in quite a while (years) so I assume it is out of production. Right next to it was the 1/25th centurion (with complete interior), I had to let that one sit. I can't wait to get started on this oldie but goodie.

Man, you are one lucky devil. My LHS never have nice surprises like that!

Nice find!
The Tamiya 1/25 Tiger was re-released here in Japan several years ago, so they may have trickled around the world a bit by now. The 1/25 T-34/85 (and Centurion) is currently available here, so you may find them roaming the globe soon, too.
