Maybe you could expand the build to include all countries trucks and lorries.

April huh? That's a looong way off. I'll be building one sometime this or next year, so if this does come through, I'd probably be up for it.

Guess it depends on level of interest more than anything else. I'd be interested in building a soft-skin around about that time as the T-34 GB ends April 1. I'd be hesitant to open it up to all trucks/lorries and all sides as that makes for a pretty scattered audience, depending, IMHO. My limited experience has shown that GBs with a tighter focuse keep people together on a common subject and the pooled resources are more targeted as a result. Just my $0.02.

I'd be in. The Tiger Build will still be going on, but should be in the Dio stage by then, so yeah, I'd like it. Will this be a particular kit or limited to a variant?? Tell me what I need to buy. Here we go again!!!

wbill76, I had the same thoughts as you. I was thinking about letting in the US stuff but then came to the same conclusion as you did. I would open it up to the Opel maultier though.

There are quite a few variants including ambulance, fuel truck, flak and even a fire truck.
I know there are two conversions for ambulance and I am pretty sure that there is a fuel one. And Its probably not hard to scratchbuild a flak version.

Well, we'll have to see how this turns out. Somebody just opend up a Cargo Truck GB in the GB forum.

Ditto on the cargo truck GB, I just saw it yesterday. Consider opening this one up to any German cargo vehicles.

I'm still in favor of keeping this one limited to Opels...the Cargo Truck GB is very broad...any scale, any era pretty much means anything and everything and those type of GBs are too broad for my taste, the level of cohesion and comraderie is different in those types IMHO and just not the same. I'd rather have a smaller group with a tighter focus for a more genuine shared experience than just be part of a thundering herd building 10-20-30 different types with no real common factor except they are all trucks to unite them. Just my $0.02 for what it's worth. Big Smile [:D]

I would also like to keep it tight. Like I said I though about oening it up to all sorts but I have found it more enjoyable with one main subject. Although I really want to build a Krupp Potze...

I would be very interested in joining an Opel Blitz GB, I hope 1/72 scale is allowed since I have the Italeri kit in my kit stash already.
