Rob forgot Airfix Mk.I in 1/76..! A good kit despite its age! You may also consider alternative sources of kit such as resin and white metal kit manufacturers; for instance, S&A Models of England have a few other resin WWI crawlies in their range, all equisitely detailled, while ExoKit/Retromodels of France have I think the best Whippet in 1/72 (resin)(tracks units are WAY better than those on the Emhar kit); Back to injected plastic kits, is it Amodel who got the famed Tsar tank out in 1/72..? That one is bigger in 1/72 than most armor kits in 1/35!

I did Emhar's 1/35 Mk IV "Male" It was a decent kit which only had a couple of minor problems.

I have just finished building Emhars Whippet in 1/35. It was a real pleasure to build. I also like the WWI stuff. Maybe someday dragon and Tamiya will be making them, along with some figs.

RPM makes just about every variant of the FT-17 WW1 French light tank. It has a US version as well as a Japanese version, captured German, etc. They do them both in 1/35 and 1/72.

Tauro makes the WW1 German A7V heavy tank and the Fiat 3000 (Italian copy of the FT-17).

Emhar's line includes the Mk IV Male, Mk IV Female, Whippet, Mk IV Tadpole and I believe they are making a Mk IV Hermaphrodite. In 1/72 scale they do the Mk IV Male, Female, Whippet and A7V heavy tank.

Matchbox does the Char B and FT-17 in 1/76 scale too.

Not a whole lot of early armor kits out there, but then again, there weren't a whole lot of actual early armor vehicles.

Anyone know of any Early armor (WW1). There doesn't seem to be much, if any out there. I really get a kick out of the older stuff.... everything starts somewhere!
