I honestly never seen a Hetzer with Panzergrey...
Would'nt you prefer an ambush scheme, with 3 tone color?

If there were Hetzeres with grey camo, can someone post a pic of it?

no grey Hetzer though...all ambush ....and it makes sense if you think of role and pedigree of Hetzer I would not really expect them to have been grey

I also have never seen a gray Hetzer, but for Panzer gray, I use either Model Master Panzergrau (Acrylic, but they make enamel too) or Tamiya German Gray. If they don't have them, the closest I can think of is Gunship Gray FS36118, but you will probably want to lighten it just a tad. It comes out very dark. If you get a choice, opt for one of the first two

MM '43 Panzerschwarzgrau is the most accurate representation of German Panzer Gray IMHO. I've used the enamel variety and it has captured the bluish tint to the gray very well judging by the leading lights of the armor world at any rate...the problem with RAL colors is that it's very hard to exactly duplicate them so each manufacturer has a slightly different take on it.

One thing to note about German armor schemes, if you are interested in accuracy in this department, the Panzer Gray was phased out in early '43 and replaced with a Dark Yellow as the basecoat. According to Achtung Panzer! http://www.achtungpanzer.com/hetzer.htm the Hetzer didn't enter production until April '44 and 2,584 were produced from then until May '45.

This link shows some schemes for the Hetzer down towards the bottom of the page:

This is true. I like it in an ambush scheme.

To each of you who resposnded I thank you. I will try to visit sites listed and may want to build with a multicolor scheme. As you may have guessed, I am not very familiar with armor, so any information is appreciated.

for panergrey, i just use Model Master panzergrey. the tone varied from unit to unit and vehicle and theatre of operations etc. there's no one ultimate paint that will be all. just my My 2 cents [2c]
