Accurate Armour ships quick!
Posted by J-Hulk on Tuesday, November 2, 2004 7:34 AM
Hi, folks!
My first experience ordering a product via the Internet was a happy one! Smile [:)]
I ordered a set of resin tracks for Emhar's Mk IV from Accurate Armour on October 27 (VERY late at night here in Osaka) and received the package this morning (November 2). That's just barely a week, and that was for shipping from Scotland to Japan! I suppose the main reason I was surprised is because AA's website states "Please allow 28 days for shipping," so I had completely put the tracks out of my mind.

For those of you who have dealt with Accurate Armour, is this quick service the norm? If so, I'm quite impressed. Having heard horror stories of late or no shipments from various companies, I was a bit leary to order over the Internet, but Accurate Armour has gone a long way towards quelling any fears I've had about doing so.

Thanks, AA!

I ordered Accurate Armour tracks for my Firefly. I had them sent from the shop in Scotland to my in-laws just across the border in Newcastle, who then sent them to me here in Montreal, and I got them in less than two weeks.

Just last night I got the Humber in the U.S., barely a week after ordering....I suspect they must be experimenting with warp drive on the side. Smile [:)]

On the other hand, they could have packed it a little better. There was some breakage. if I were them, I'd have put the big solid main body in a separate bag from all the little sprues.

Yeah, J-Hulk

I think they ship everything air-mail. I get stuff very fast as well !

I'm hooked on their resin tracks as well. Great stuff

Good luck with that Mark IV - that's a pretty funky tank !

Not quick enough for me, though! I'm so excited to get one of their wonderful kits that I want it the next day!

Sometimes they send you bad pieces, but just drop them a note and they whisk a replacement right off to you.

That's awesome Brian. I got tired of waiting for my order to get into Greatmodels and ordered something else. First it was in stock, then went out while waiting for a search on another.

Good to hear AA has a good rep.
Now, if I could just afford one of their full kits...like that big T28 (M95)!!
