Late War Panzer III

I'm wondering if there was also any Panzerr III N in that area still in 1945...

I think your question is a bit too vague for a quick answer. With 38 different named, SS, or numbered panzer divisions, not to mention all the stand-alone units or combined arms units, there's a bunch of research necessary. If you limit your request to specific divisions or even to specific theaters, answers will be much easier to come by.

I have a photo that shows several Ausf Ns after their capture in Norway at the end of the war. These and some found in Holland are probably the last major groups of them, but I haven't found out which units they belong to. I need to check my references, but I believe all of the Ausf Ns assigned to 3rd companys of Tiger Abteilungs on the Eastern Front didn't survive through late '44.
