The Tamiya T-55 is a wonderful kit. So is their T-72. I have also enjoyed building the Trumpeter SA-2 w/launcher and their Swedish "S" tank.

Please give me specific kits. Kits that you thought were just amazing or really really good and fun to build.
Thanks.
Sorry for such complicated topic, but I need help.

If your Hobby Lobby is anything like mine, you will have very limited choices and all of them will be Tamiya...

I agree with the good old Tamiya Flak 36/37 kit! Lots of fun and figures to boot!

Gotta go with Tamiya's Panther G Late. Fantastic detail and fit. No construction problems at all

How about something modern and huge?!

Tamiya LEOPARD 2A6 to be loaded to a Trumpeter FAUN.

Pretty subjective, but a lot of good things have been said about the Dragon Leopold.

What's your preference here? Tank, AFV, APC, half-track, truck? Then throw in the era, WW1, WW2, Korea, Vietnam, Cold War, Desert Storm, OIF, etc.

If you're looking for the best T-34 model, Dragon has several out that are superb. I've got two different T-34/85 kits, one a NVA one and the other a UTZ one. Both are great. I've heard good things about their T-34/76 Model 1940 so would steer you towards those kits.

The best kit with the most awesome build is the one you have the greatest desire to do the most with. For me it was the old Tamiya Flak 36/37 kit. Don't think that because a kit is big, or has a lot of pieces, that it's the best thing going. It's all in what you decide to put into it. That's what this hobby is all about....

Having said that, if you still want big and detalied, try Trumpeter's 1/35 Leopold.

Well, you just asked a mouthful. I, as well as many on this forum I believe, will go with the Tamiya Dragon Wagon. It is a great kit. Fit of parts is excellent, and the finished product is just full of presence and style.
