If you dont have it yet British Army Of The Rhine armored vehicle on exercise by Thomas Laber and published by Concord Publication Company has a lot of Berlin Brigade Pics in it among other vehicles. I lucked out one day when I walked into my hobbie shop and he had this and a few others on clearance and so I only paid $1.99 for it. Although Im not much into modern Brit stuff I couldnt pass it up at that price.

The Tamiya kit is of the Mark 5 Cheiftan, and yes you need to do some scratchbuilding or spend the big bickies to do the Berlin Brigade scheme.

If you want to build this tank (and I really, really do) it will be necessary to buy the Accurate Armour MK. 11 w/TOGS Chieftain conversion. It's about a 125 dollars, but is the only way to build an accurate Berlin Brigade Chieftain.

Well, that is quite differnet, yet effective. Good luck on the masking Jeff.

Interesting little tidbit. Looks very weird, but effective. Don't think I'm quite ready to attempt this scheme on my Centurion.

I've never seen a model, but have always intended to do a Chieftain in it. It's called the "Berlin Brigade" scheme, and it looks like one of the most knock-out urban schemes I've ever seen. A Google search for that name should yield some useful pics. (I've picked up a bunch over the years, but can't remember where they all came from.) Here's probably the best link, and an excellent place to start:

British Berlin Cam

I seem to remeber from the dim and distant past the British Armoured forces in Berlin '70s and '80s adopting a strange urban cam patern for thier vehicles Chieftains etc. Has anyone ever modeled or seen a model of anything like this?
