Posted by Anonymous on Friday, November 5, 2004 1:49 AM
Hello guys! heres some pictures of my Jadgtiger proyect, I'm thinking on putting some zimerit on it and then ready for paint...

Also I have to make a resin copy of the wheel hub because it was missing on the kit like the gun barrel...

And here are the tracks ready for paint...
[And the chasiss

I' m going to painted in dark yellow with over spray in panzer gray like a king tiger that I saw in a museum...what do yo think?

I want your opinion.....

Looks like you're on the ball with the build. Very nice and clean. What will you be using to apply zimmerit?

Thats a henchell version , if you want to be true to history I would skip the zimmerit , ( henschel added none to thier machines ) Porsche versions however did have zimmerit on some . However noone says you cannot take artistic freedom and do yours with zimmerit ! I put it on mine before I found this fact out and it does look kool on it , ( cavalier set) heres a pic of mine with zimmerit ( just one of many works in progress I have going here so don't mind the bare brass here and there ! Yours looks great as is , I would just go with it ! besides putting zimmerit on with the tool racks on is going to be a nightmare !

Looking good, Romelio!
Is that the Tamiya kit? Or maybe even the Nichimo kit?

Keep us posted with your progress!

You're off to a good start. You don't see the old Tamiya kit anymore. Look forward to more progress.

Gabriel I will try to get you some pics up tomorrow as I am at the girlfriends house tonight on her computer . My jagdtiger has turned into a minir disaster with those modelkasten tracks and related track pin melting due to the wash solution , the then indy tracks are now almost one piece as I have had to reglue almost both whole runs ! If you get indies for your don't use thinner wash on the modelkasten tracks as I did , lesson learned Wink [;)] But anyhow I will get you pics and post them for you in the forum or on this thread ,...... regards .
