the DML T-34/76 kit is definitely one of the best kits I've ever built, armor, ac or cars.

I've gotta agree. I just received DML's Jagdpanzer Normandy Anniversary kit and it is awesome. It saves at least $30 on would normally be bought as an aftermarket item: PE screeens, aluminum barrel, metal tow cable, plenty of decals to choose what numbers you want, and their normal individual tracks. I would not hesitate on it.

Ditto. They are so much cheaper than a latest offering form Tamiya too. great selection also.

1) Any free kit
2) Any kit on sale (obviously)

If you're talking strictly "full-retail" prices, I'd say the "3 in 1" DML kits are a pretty big bang for the buck. Your choice of three different versions, plenty of extra parts for future builds, outstanding detail, lots of extras (PE parts, metal barrels, etc), and all for a fraction of the Tamiya equivalents.
