Sherman M4A3 - late P/E Aber - help please!
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, November 5, 2004 7:31 PM
Hi there folks:

Can someone help me with images or instructions on the ABER p/e for Tamiya M4A3 Sherman please? I need reference pictures especially for the cupola and other confusing details on the ABER kit.

Thank you.

Sure wish I could help, but I'm just starting too have my first experience with the Aber PE kits so don't even know what too expect yet. Is there a problem with their instructions? or are they missing? I was under the impression that their instructions are fairly clear? Of course that really doesn't mean much to us amateurs. Someone will come along I'm sure who can help you out. Good luck. Semper Fi, mike

Instructions on putting the P/E together is no problem. Positioning them an the Sherman is a pain with no references. The internet does not provide that much detailed information. A/M Books will do but I'm asking those who already have if they can spare some images because I have no use for the entire A/M book.

The one source I would stongly recommend, would be Squadron Signal's M4 Sherman Walk-Around. It goes for about ten or twelve bucks and has a ton of pictures that show most anything you can find on a Sherman. I have found the detail photos in it to be incredibly valuable on my current M4 project.

As far as scanning photos from it and publishing them for viewing here, that is not an option because doing so is specifically prohibited by the publisher's copyright.
