Sorry, didn't spell AAMRAM correctly. Same missile fired by the F-15, F-14 etc.

Aside from the Army Recruit Command Hummer, the Marijnes have a Gloss red one with all kinds of logo's on it. Also a Hummer is being tested mounting 5 AARAM missiles on it. Called the HUMRAM. Pretty cool, worked with it once before I retired.

In a nutshell? An Air Force PJ or CCT is their version of a Navy Seal, Green Beret, or Army Ranger. PJ stands for Pararescue Jumper and CCT stands for Combat Control Team. Frequently, Air Force members - even former ones like me - will refer to all of them collectively as PJ's.

At Ft. Devens, the 94th RRC has a black HMMWV with some yellow trim used for recruiting. Funny to see it with chrome wheels.

SWEET pics! I had never seen a fire rescue hummer! I had seen a couple of police hummers {i beleive they were all LAPD}, I'm a former officer, but not the fire ones. Hey Foster whats a USAF "PJ"? I want to do a flat blak hummer with some modern Tamia figs in black fatigues. I have a surplus of Italeri and Hobby Craft [which I beleive are Academy] hummers. With the new Tamiya hummer out I'm certain more of these hummers will be turning up dirt cheap. I won a lot of about 5 on ebay a few months back and I had purchased several others at hobby lobby on sale beffore that. I don't have the cash for the expensive after market conversions so I'm working with what I have first.lol

They may not exist in real life, but that doesn't mean it's not a cool idea for a model.

You pretty much covered all the color combos. I have never seen an all black HMMWV. You could go with a police HMMWV for some color variation and something different. I have also seen FireFighter HMMWVs in red and yellow-green color, most Army posts have them, some civilian depts. too.
Examples:

Or a Lifeguard HMMWV

There are some options. Happy Modeling!

USAF PJ's have used flat black ATV's, flat black motorcycles, flat black boats, and even flat black dune buggies, but no flat black HUMVEE's. They might exist, but I've never seen one.

Martain, after 6yrs in the Army Ive never seen a solid black hummer less it belonged to a civilian. The Gloss black one w/ all kinds of logos your refering to belongs to the "Army Recruiting Command" and is often displayed at very public places, malls, NASCAR events and such and theres always a recruiter not far behind. Even SPECOPS Humvees are usually camo'd up as for solid colors Tans is about the best your gonna get. The one excpetion will be a Humvee thats had substantial body work done and then it will be all over olive drab but then only long enough to make it to a paint shop. In germany many of our Humvees had to have the hoods replaced because we kept braking them (they're only fiber glass) and the parts could quite often go more than a year before seeing paint. other parts that are often replaced are door, and if its a soft top, the covers. More often than not, Rear hatches. roofs, and quarter panels will always have camo on them.
On a side note, very few SPECOP units use the Humvee. Most have vehicles more suited to thier needs Navy Seals have a Dune Buggy type vehicle and most every one else uses a new type of vehilce, for the life of me I cant remember what its called, but its a modular vehicle having multi purposes. It can be stacked by driving one ontop of the other then the bottom one can be driven into a Chinook for transportation so one Chinook can transport 4 internally and Im sure can sling load more. US Army Rangers (if they can be considered Special Forces) Are about the only Special unit that really still uses Humvees

That last comment was not meant to disrespect Ranger's in anyway. They are Masters at very demanding job just not exactly small scale insurgents like SEALS, or SAS

If you want or need any pics Martian I have several. Mostly M1025's as thats my primary vehicle but I can get many more. Incuding interior shots. lemme know if your intrested

Any one knows if any military hummers have ever been painted black like for special ops or some such? Any one have any picks of ANY hummers in solid colors aside from the usual , desert tan, U.S. camo, iraqi khaki [whatever that desert color is they use], Greek camo, or U.N. white? The only one i have seen is the army promo hummer in gloss black with the signage all over it. Any other color suggestions would be helpful. I have bout 6 to 8 old hummer kits and I'm running out of color ideas!lol
