The cast cupolas on the Tiger 1 and the Panther A and G were different
but the Tiger 1 and KingTiger were the same

The early version Tiger 1 and D model Panther both used "drum" cupolas. Then they both went to cast. They were not the exact same parts, just similar in design.

Just look at Tigermans sig. pic, the Panther coupola is much taller.

Other than being of cast construction, and sharing a common hatch mechanism, they were not the same.

My Panther G's appears to be taller and has more periscopes.

Were the tiger and panther couplas the same, at least for the Panther A and G and mid-late tiger?
