The paint scheme is the one in tigerman's posts. These colors were also used on top of panzer dark yellow one at a time or together in many patterns.

I just shott plain old Tamiya Red Brown and Dark Green.

Yeah, to me it was too brown. Even Tamiya's redbrown is too brown to me (but closer)

Mixing in the rust is a good idea. The MM Schokoladenbraun seemed a little dark. (at least to me).

i either mix MM Schokoladenbraun and MM rust or a mix of Tamiya redbrown and hull red. For the green, I use MM panzer olivgrun

I use MM Schokoladenbraun, or HU 70 brickred enamels for the 'Red Brown", and MM olivegrun enamel for panzer camo. Anybody use others?
