Sdkfz234 Puma scale 1/8

Hello everything a friend of me has a video by the Puma made who it to
have would like a short mail to me. In the video is not located
yardstick 1/10 that is the Puma is correct on a scale 1/8.

Model by David Griffiths...I painted it...its @ 1/6th scale....thats a 1/35th scale JS BTW

I love the photos they look great. But has anyone ever thought of putting a quarter or something else we can see to give the picture some scale? I just can't get an idea of how big these things are.

Did you exhibit this vehicle at the 2003 Wembley Model Engineering Exhibition (in London)?
I remember seeing an unfinished large-scale metal Puma there.

Wow, that is some seriously impressive work. I took a look at your site, and there is some trully serious work there. Is this kit full RC? What about the Fuchs?

Wow, 110 cm in length with the gun barrel and a weight of 45 kilos! That's one massive model for sure! I can uderstand why it would have taken you 4 years to build it. Very impressive! Price tag of 3k euros is nothing to sneeze at either....wow. Thumbs Up [tup]

Hello
The model, which I present here, represents a SdKfz to 234/2 "Puma"
with 5 cm KWK. It has (with pipe) an overall length of ca.110 cm, is
approx.. broad and "full" 45 kg weigh 35 cm. The building of the
all-wheel-driven and fully drivingefficient Pumas came from aluminum
materials and brass. Special highlight are the swivelling tower also
with mobile gun barrel and the sound module for driving weapon and
radio noises. On the smoke generator for the exhaust still one works.

Bauzeit:4 years costs: ca.3000euro/ one wife Big Smile [:D]

Wow! Really amazing work there.
Scratchbuilding and large-scale models are my favourite areas of AFV modelling, but my efforts
aren't really up to your standard!

I'd be very interested to know more about the construction techniques and materials you used. How did you make the wheels and tyres? This seems to be the hardest aspect of scratchbuilding
a wheeled vehicle, particularly in a scale like 1/8, where you can't just use wheels from a kit.

Looks great!....scratch built, i assume. It's frustrating that there is only one model company that addresses the Sdkfz234 series in 1/35 scale. It would be nice if AFV or DML would jump on the bandwagon and give the SDkfz series as much attention it has paid other armoured vehicles. Anyway that's a very impresive PUMA you have there!!! Wink [;)]
