Good progress Frosty. Sorry to hear that you missed the deadline, but at least you'll still have a small and very detailed Stug when you finish Big Smile [:D]

Erica, I'm late on the Stug build too, but should get some paint down this week. I live by the motto of what Douglas Adams (Author of The Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy Series) once said:
'I love deadlines. I especially love the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.'

Your interior is simply brilliant. Well worth the effort you put in it. It's gonna be another fine piece for the collection.

I doubt that I could do as well as you on something like that. I am afraid of detailing that much on my small stuff. You are truly gifted!

Well what can I say? A 1/72 Stug with interiors. Now that's a BIG BIG accomplishment for such a TINY kit. Great job, Frosty.

hey, everybody !
thanx 4 checking out this build, & 4 all ur kind comments !
i have really been having a lot of fun building this kit...
i made the decision 2 let the build take the time it needs instead of
trying 2 rush it 2 meet the GB deadline, & i'm happy i did.
still a few more lil' bits 2 add 2 the innards here & there,
but it's getting there.... ever so slowly....

royc, thanx 4 the compliments on the build...
i guess i'll have 2 type in a higher voice next time, tho'...Tongue [:P]Wink [;)]Big Smile [:D]

Nice worked on the crowded StuG interior! Where the heck did the guys even sit?
Looking forward to seeing the done deal!

arigato goziemashita, ootoko !
they sat in their seats, like good boys ! Big Smile [:D]
the commander's seat was attached 2 the bulkhead between the crew & engine compartments, he was practically sitting on the gunner's back...
the gunner's seat was attached 2 the main gun & traversed with it (not much travel,tho')... the loader's seat was attached 2 the right side sponson wall, 2 his left
were ammo stowage bins, he had the most room of anyone, i think...
the driver's seat was up front 2 port side... all crew positions r in place in these pix
except the commander's seat, which is attached 2 the bulkhead, which is attached
2 the upper hull of my model...
but u r rite, they were packed in there like sardines in a tin can ! Big Smile [:D]

oh, c'mon, Duke !
u can do it !!!
when i see what u do with those Eastern Bloc kits w/ fit problems, turning them into
beautiful models... me, i really hate 2 putty & sand, so i admire ur work !
detailing is fun, just try it once or twice...
my only gift is the nerve 2 try, & try again when it doesn't work out !
but thanx 4 the kind words !

You never cease to amaze me with your braille scale Frosty, but this is really extraodinary and fine workmanship. Damn the finish date, this project warrents the time and patience you have put into it. Thanks for sharing with us and reassuring us that all you have to do is just try it. Semper Fi, mike

Looks great, Frosty. I always enjoy seeing what you can do with the brailles! Amazing!! You're fingers are obviously much smaller and more nimble than a lot of us ham handed old men!! lol

Thanks for sharing your work.
