Factory Tour No. 5! One Completed, One Almost Done, and One, well......

Here I am giving Tour No. 5!

I'll first show off the work I did with some copper wire, putting handrails and light guards on my BTR. It was a bit tough, and I was going to leave them off. Then I decided that it would look better with the extra detail. So, here is what it looked like after I'd finished with the copper wire:

Afterwards, I resprayed, clearcoated, washed, decaled it and then dullcoated it. Then I finished it off with some drybrushing.

Viola! The finished BTR that my Russian Army is taking delivery of:

Next, I went to work on my Tunguska. I got the camouflage done, and I daresay that it looks pretty darned good! I'm very pleased with how this looks:

Now all I have to do is clearcoat, decal, wash, dullcoat, and drybrush, and my Russians will have a new mobile SAM system!

Finally, here is the last one. It is my BRDM 2/AT-3 SAGGER vehicle. It is completed: I clearcoated, washed, decaled dullcoated and drybrushed it. For all practical purposes, the construction is finished.

This is how it looks with only ONE TIRE! Banged Head [banghead]

Someday, I may find those other threeCensored [censored] things and maybe get this bad boy finished! Angry [:(!]

Well, that concludes this latest Factory Tour. I hope you enjoyed it as well as I did giving it. Feel free to step into the veranda for our post-tour reception; the grill is hot and the Burgers are juicy! Chef [C=:-)]

Nice to see the approaching winter hasn't slowed down the assembly line...as for the missing tires, well it sounds like a plot to try and unionize your shop! Tongue [:P]

Billl: NOT going to happen! Lol! Laugh [(-D]

Yeah, the winter won't slow me down. I have a British Aircraft Carrier to finish, then I'll start about five or six more pieces of Armor again while I'm working on my brother's Titanic.

Duke I like that snazzy paintjob on the on the Tunguska. Did you brush or airbrush it?

Tunguska looks mean and purposeful, Duke.. I like the way the BTR looks too. You did a great job on the extra detailling. The Sagger looks fine too!

Thank you very much joe, Dwight, Tigerman, and Dj. Smile [:)]

Tigerman: I actually brushed it on. I was going to try the aircrush, but there were so many nooks and crannies to try and spray into that I was afraid I'd screw it up. Besides, I still haven't got a spray booth for that kind of prolonged spraying. It was easier to brush the pattern on.

Dwight: I liked it too. It looked better than the other pattern option they had.

Dj: Thanks for your comments on all my vehicles. I just wish I could add the AT 3 Sagger to my Russian Army. I hope those tires show up soon.

Well, I still have a Panther to finish detailing. I just need to decide what camo pattern I'm going to use. Then there are several Middle Eastern vehicles to build as well. I'll keep everyone posted.

Haha, the forces grow ever stronger Smile [:)]
Interesting camo on the Tunguska. Can you elaborate a little on it?
