Here's hopin'!

Domi, you know my abysmal record with group builds...
Or maybe just builds in general, these days!!

I've really wanted to do a Leclerc for a loooong time now, though, but I never had the gumption to start on my Heller kit.
No excuses now!

Well, that's nice. While dragon and cademy concentrates in WWII, Tamiya is recently going modern. I like it.

I am glad that Tamiya has gone in a different direction by releasing a kit that isn't also being released by other companies. I hope they stay with modern vehicles and come out with some other nice surprises (T-62, T-80 or a T-90, pls!!).

New Tamiya 1/35 Leclerc MBT coming Spring 2005

I've seen on other websites that Tamiya will be releasing a 1/35 French Leclerc sometime in the near future! Apparently, this news comes from the December issue of Tamiya Modeling Magazine (which I haven't seen myself). I haven't been able to verify this news with any other sources.

If true, this is indeed good news! The Leclerc is one of my favorite modern MBTs, and it's good to see that Tamiya is still kicking around in 1/35.

And really, it's about time something came around to replace that amorphous Heller Leclerc!
