Great build. Sigh, I wish I could build like that...

Nice finish on the tiger! The camo pattern blends together very well. As far as the wash getting away from you, if you feel like it's too dark or heavy, you can always mute it a little with a dusting effect with pastels or drybrushing with the normal shades under the wash.

Other than a shiny figure it really looks good. Keep it up!

Thanks everyone for the kind words and constructive critism. Armour_freek, I used Tamiya paints for everything. Dark Yellow, Dark Green and Red Brown for the camo. The steel parts (tow cables) are gunmetal with weathering from silver and burnt umber pencils. This was the first time I used colored pencils for weathering, and I'm happy with the results.

Really nice Christopher. I like the camo job. Unfortunately in the light, the zim doesn't show up well. I think it may benefit in some places with a wash and a little drybrushing. Great job on my personal favorite kit. Thanks for sharing.

Looks pretty good to me. A bit on the shiney side but might be the flash.

tediam, thanks for the words of encouragment.

dwight - you're right, I'll have to add a little grease/dirt by the drive sprockets, and tone down the commander's uniform. Thanks for the advise

Well, that looks good to me. The PE did enhance the beauty of the kit. (I can say this because I built the same kit OOB 2 years ago.) I like the camo job that you did. If you may allow me I suggest that you darken the lower hull sides behind the drive sprockets a bit (2nd pic) as it stands out from the rest of the tank. You may also spray some dull coat on the figure (but perhaps it is just the flash).

Overall, I can say that you did a better job than me.

I'd like to join Armorfreak in displaying my newly finished Tiger I.
I'd also like to appologize to the Tiger I group build that was going to start in December. I bought this kit to do that, but I couldn't wait. I hope ya'll can forgive me. This is Tamiya's Tiger 1 Late with Eduard Photo Etch Zim and Tamiya's grill screens. I went a little nuts with my wash, but I like the way it turned out. Figures are a challenge for me, so I like to give kit figures a my best in order to improve my skills. Of coarse, constructive critism is appreciated.
