I am new to modeling and would like to know what the best paint to use on my models. I see a lot of talk about enamels and acrylics. Which is better?

Both are good paints. It realy boils down to what you like as an individual. I choose to use acrylics for their ease of cleaning and faster drying times. Just make sure you use a good quality of paint like Model Master or Tamiya to name a couple.

I agree with Shermanfreak, I use Acrylic almost exclusively for the reasons he stated. Acrylics also don't take years off your life when inhaling them like Enamels. Use of a spray booth, Filtered Mask and good ventilation are a must when airbrushing.
