The Aber barrel is fantastic too. As for Verlinden, their instructions (if they even include any) are not the best. Of course Eduard's instruction can be vague sometimes, too. Comes with the territory, I suppose

I looked at the Verlinden set when I was building mine. (I assume you're looking at the same set, I don't remember the number.) I hate to say it, but I wasn't terribly impressed. The instructions lacked a lot. There were parts I couldn't figure out what they were supposed to be. But, if you've got some good reference material, which I didn't at the time, you would probably be okay there. I thought it seemed pricey for what you got.

The Eduard barrels are fantastic. I had some problems with the JR barrel on my Pz II.

Verlinden Productions detail set for early Tiger?

Does anyone have any experience with the vp early tiger detail set? I am just kinda curious, it looked pretty nice. It includes everything that I was looking for and the other sets like eduard didn't seem like everything was there, or I just couldn't see it in the picture. I order that and Tamiya #35216 and the jordi rubio barrel for GM but I think from reading on here I am going to call them and have them change the barrel out for the eduard one, I like the one piece instead of two. Thanks for any input on this.
