do they make a spray that you can apply to your models, which if are finished with washes, drybursh, pastels, etc, that can protect the finish on your tank and keep it from rubbing off, ruining??

There is Testors Model Master dullcote for enamels and Future floor polish for acrylics. You can add Tamiya flat base to the Future to make it flatter than the satin that it normally comes in.

Armory makes some fairly good matte and gloss sealers for acrylics at a very reasonable cost (about $6 per can.) Also, try Games Workshop cans (gloss only.) A bit more expensive, but a little nicer finish than Armory.
