I recently built this kit and I am quite happy with the results. The most annoying problem is the soft plastic which can be troublesome when you are sanding seams or the few sinkmarks on the kit parts. It was nice of Trumpeter to include a lot of extra decals for the kit, but unfortunately they only give instructions on how to paint and decal one vehicle. Thanks to OIF I have since found several good photos of AS-90's in desert camo. Be aware that the longer barrel is a new modification, and I haven't been able to find any pictures of AS-90's with the longer barrel in the Balkans or in Iraq. Hopefully somebody else will have some better information than what I have been able to find. Accuracy wise, it looks like the real deal when compared to photos. I haven't measured the kit, so I don't know how it scales out when compared to the real thing. The only other thing that gave me a problem is the turret basket. It wouldn't stand up straight, so I made a tarp, put in some junk resin pieces and covered the basket. Have fun building!!!
