Trumpeter releases the France 39(H) tank
Posted by zokissima on Tuesday, November 30, 2004 8:48 AM
I was waiting for Trumpeter to start with their releases of early WWII vehicles, as I think this will determine where exactly the company stands, and where it will go from here.
Recently, they announced some French armor, and here's a review of the first of it:

They have an excellant link with hundreds of pictures of the H39 on there. Thanks for sharing zokissima. I am going to have to give this one a try. It's funny because last night I was complaining about the lack of French and Italian Armor.

I too am waiting for them to come over the pond. I'd give it about a month for you USA guys, and probably a little longer for anyone here in Canada.
I'm just waiting on the artillery pieces based on this chasis.

Thanks, buddy! With all the stuff I have to build right now, I think I will wait and save you the trouble. Thanks anyway!

At least it's something different. I'll wait for the reviews and patiently for the KV-1 that may never get released.

Tell me about it. The kit's been in the 'announced' state for at least a year now, and still no new news. I caved in a couple of days ago and bought the Tamiya offering. It's old, but with some work it'll build into a decent kit.

FYI:
Over at HobbyLink Japan they show PitRoad (Skywave) will be releasing, supposedly in December, a French Army H39 Hotchkiss Tank for about $29.00.
