Has anyone built the 3 in 1 halftrack from Dragon? It looks amazing. Includers aluminum gun barrel Pe poarts and individual link tracks, all for only 30$!!!! Does it fit? And is it a good kit?
Thanks, Tank.

I bought the 3-in-1 D model, and it looks great! Can't wait to get around to it.

I have both the 3-in-1 Ausf D and the 3-in-1 Ausf C. They both look like outstanding kits with plenty of extra parts and options.

I am dieing for both of these kits! I read review comparing the AFVClub Asuf C and the ne dragon one, heres what it said (basically)

The Afv club kit is more accurate and detailed. But the Dragon kit comes with figs, and a boat load of extras. They both build into a great models, so it depends if you are really a really accurate type of builder, or just a plain, have fun builder.

I plan on getting both one day.

I went crazy and bought three of 'em figuring a kit this good won't be around long! Over 600 teeny pieces, I can't wait to clear a space on my bench to start on version #1!

Heh..with that many you can build all 3 versions and still have a boatload of extra parts left over for future builds. I am looking to maybe start one of these as soon as I get finished with my Pak 40 and Willies Jeep

Ive got alot on the bench too. I'll probably build the Afv club kit first.
Dragon has made it possible to have a very interesting night battle. With their special night fighting , 251, infantry and panther it would be a neat thing to see.
Now to add that to the list of dio ideas i have.....

I read the Perth review a little while ago, and all directions point to it being a very good kit. It's flying off the shelves at my LHS. I'm on a waiting list to get mine.

I took advantage of Great Model's sale notice this week and picked up the 3-in-1 C for $25. They also have the D for the same price. Big Smile [:D]

Aren't new kits kind of like new cars. They fly off the shelf because everone wants NEW, NEW, NEW. Some even command silly ebay prices when they first come out. Hey, I'm no different, I need one too. Make mine a "D". Big Smile [:D]

Got my 3-in-1 C yesterday from GM...has over 800 parts (yes friends, that's right 800!) which is more than the Leopold had. Granted you won't use them all depending on what version you build but still, it's loaded with all kinds of goodies. The aluminum 3.7 cm barrel and brass rounds are what tipped me towards the 251/10 version although I have to admit the 251/7 Pioneerwagen also looks very tempting...
