Non-skid surface for my m1a1 improved.pics

As you can see there is a differance in the surfacing then the other way I had done.I removed the green glop and recleaned the surface to redo.I used elmers glue inwhich I brushed it on and then sprinkled my corn meal. This caused it to have a more sutile effect. This should turn out good when I go to spray the color on when finished.Your comments on the perveouis post were welcomed and help me out a lot to do better. So here is some pics of what it looks now to what it did then.Thank you all,Digger

this what it looks like now and this down below is what it looked like then.

As you can see there is a big improvement in what it looks like.

The pics are a bit blurry for me (maybe I need new glasses..LOL) but it looks like a big improvement from the previous try.

I think It's an improvement. Amazing what our imaginations will come up with when were looking for ways to duplicate an affect. Good job Digger. Semper Fi, mike

Definitely an improvement, Digger! I think that'll look really good once you get a coat of paint on it.
