I know Dragon make a series of 1/35 Panhard 178 kits (I read an article about them
in an issue of "Military in Scale"), there is a standard version, a command version with aerial framework,
and a railcar one with railway wheels and a set of track.
However I've never seen any of them, either in shops, online or at second-hand sales.

I tried searching on Google for "Dragon 1/35 Panhard 178 kit" and found the railway version for sale here - http://www.internethobbies.com/internethobbies/dml135railse.html
(I believe this version still includes the road wheels and parts for the standard version)

Also, there is a 1/72 kit by RPM available here:

There's also a 1/72 kit from Extratech on Squadron.com. $29 is way too rich for my blood though. Maybe there's gold PE. LOL

According to the review I read (Military in Scale September '98 issue), both the command
and railway versions include French as well as German markings (also Vichy French) and I -think-
the railway version also includes road wheels. I'm not 100% certain though.

The Dragon kit is a reissue of the ALBY kit.
I have the rail version. OK kit but not up to current Dragon standards.
mid 70's quality. With a little TLC it can look good.
Good luck
