I vaguely remember seeing that cartoon many years ago when I was a kid. Nice to see humor as a model. Too bad that is'nt done more often.

Wasn't there a M*A*S*H episode were a Jeep crashed or broke down and either Col. Flagg or Potter or whomever shot it?

Yes, Col. Potter put his jeep out of its misery once. The writers probably got the idea from the cartoon.

Thanks for the link. Gavin actually has one of Mauldin's books that his this cartoon on the cover. He isn't much for using the net (would rather spend time modeling, go figure) but I may go ahead and enter him in the group build, maybe for inspiration Smile [:)]
