After careful examination, I have deterimed it to be the remains of a blackmarket lemonade stand that was unfortunate enough to be in the way.

No idea.......

my cousin was just over, and he showed me on my pic (in a book) that that slatted thing is a roof....... hmm, once he said it, I could see that it was.

After my carful examination of the picture with my two years service in Korea I can only come to one conclusion. In Korea after the bars close there are tents set up where you can eat and partake of more drink if desired. These we called "Kimshi Tents". This is the remains of such a Kimshi Tent that the driver of the tank was apparently not to satisfide by either the food or the service that he received there. I had a private under my charge that did the same thing with a duece and half truck in 1989 !!!

Parachute crossed my mind, but it lools too small. that "cage" is in fact a roof in the backround.........

Looks to me like a roof in the background.

The wire could be a mangled bike or a tree branch, the white sheet could be just a white sheet, or a captured S. Korean flag being used by the crew to try and fool Allied aircraft, and the dark thing looks to be a crate of some kind.

it does look like a bike on the web, but my pic in the book, shows that wire is the spare tank straps/whatver you call them.

it almost looks like a cardboard box that has got a little wet and misshapen

it could be a south korean flag but I think its too small for that, it looks like it drapes all the way across the back deck. but it is a knocked out tank, which means if it was close to the front thatthey would put an air recognition flag on it, to prevent any mishaps........
