Holiday PaKing
Posted by wbill76 on Saturday, December 4, 2004 6:20 PM
Picked up a nice little kit in my holiday shopping at GM, Dragon's PaK 97/38 for $10, and decided to play around with it as a warmup for the 35-in-48 GB coming in January. Built all the sub-assemblies in a couple hours last night in front of the TV and painted/weathered them independently today. Then put it all together. Here are the progress shots. Next step is to build the 5x7" base it will go on. Sadly, no figs came with the kit but hey for $10 I can't really complalin. Big Smile [:D]

That's really sweet Bill. Nice little tuneup. You are a kit building machine. What are building for the 35 in 48? I'm going to attempt the Pak 40.

Gringe,

I've got the Pak 40 on order, so rest assured it will get it's fair share of attention in the relatively near future.

Eric,

I'm planning to build the Tamiya PaK 35/36 3.7cm for the 35-in-48, thought about using the PaK 40 but want to take my time with that one since it's got all those extra goodies. Smile [:)]

I'm not going to attempt to build the crew for that until I can upgrade my skill level with figs.
